Overview

What's New

Enhanced Custom Pages and Custom Data Forms to include embedding document and face images within the contents of the page. Note, support for this new functionality is only available in newer versions of the Custom Pages and Custom Data Forms activities.

Custom Pages and Custom Data Forms have been updated with additional new functionality to allow a process definition to complete on a Custom Page or Custom Data Form:
- Three new activities 'Custom Page Without Response', 'Custom Page Without Response - External', and 'Custom Data Form Without Response' are available to facilitate this functionality.
TrustWeb (TrustX's end user webapp) event API has been updated to improve messaging between TrustWeb and parent iFrames or Native Apps.

Improvements

The Dutch language is now available as a supported language when completing the ID&V flow in the TrustWeb app. For details on configuring the supported language, see the Process Definition Localization guide.
The following updates have been introduced to the Process Definition Statistics page:
- Introduced a new column to the Process Activities table, % of Unique Users, which defines how many unique users completed a given activity.
- An updated Filter Activities search field enables users to filter results of the Process Activities table. For more information, see the Metrics and Statistics guide.
The 'Custom countries configuration' character limit has been expanded to allow more than 4,000 characters in the JSON configuration. To take advantage of this improvement, a new 'Select Document Type v4' activity has been introduced.
The number of Process Definition templates available in the Backoffice has been reduced.

⚠️ Deprecation Notice

As part of the latest TrustX release, the following activities have been marked as deprecated Daon advises upgrading existing flows to use the latest version of each activity.

Capture Document Image - Front - Capture Document Image - Front has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Capture Document Image - Front v3 activity in future Process Definitions.
Capture Document Image - Back - Capture Document Image - Back has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Capture Document Image - Back v3 activity in future Process Definitions.
Color Copy Detection - Color Copy Detection has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Color Copy Detection v1.3.0 activity in future Process Definitions.
Photo Substitution Detection - Photo Substitution Detection has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Photo Substitution Detection v1.3.0 activity in future Process Definitions.
Screen Replay Detection - v1.7.1 - Screen Replay Detection has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Screen Replay Detection v2.2.0 activity in future Process Definitions.
AuthenticID Document Processor - AuthenticId Document Processor has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends use the latest Regula document process for all future Process Definitions.

Bug Fixes

Key	Description
SKY-8896	Resolved an issue where a timeout screen would appear after the 'Introduction' step once the user created a Process Token with a redirectUrl, started and completed the Switch to mobile flow, and then re-used the same Process Token url in the same tab.

TrustX v2024.11.19

Overview

Improvements

This release sees the introduction of the following document authentication algorithms. These algorithms provide improvements in accuracy for document authentication. The algorithms are being provided under early access for evaluation purposes. Notification will be provided when these algorithms will become generally available:
- Color Copy Detection v.1.4.0
- Photo Substitution Detection v1.5.0
- Black & White Copy Detection v2.1.0
- Screen Replay Detection v2.5.0
- Paper Copy Detection v2.5.0
- Portrait Substitution Detection v2.5.0

Note that these new documentation authentication algorithms use scores as threshold. It is intended that from this point forward that new algorithms will use raw scores as threshold.

This will not impact on older algorithms - these activities will continue to use probability based threshold.

The Backoffice Process Instance page has been updated to disable the 'Export CSV' button when no Process Instance search results are returned.

Bug Fixes

Key	Description
SKY-8010	Fixed race condition where long running activities could timeout while the end user was submitting a response.
SKY-8577	Resolved an issue where it was possible to search Process Instances with a 'From' date set in the future. This has been updated to only support the current date or dates in set in the past.

Overview

Improvements

A new Document to Face Match v2 activity has been introduced to provide improved error handling options in cases where a face template cannot be generated from the portrait image due to capture quality issues.
A new image has been applied which will be visible to end-users only in the case when a configuration error occurs.

⚠️ Deprecation Notice

The following activities have been deprecated and are no longer available in the Process Designer.

Regula v7.1 - Regula v7.1 has been deprecated. Daon recommends moving Process Definitions to Regula v7.2 or Regula v7.4.
Custom Data Form - Custom Data Form has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Custom Data Form v2 activity in future Process Definitions.
Execute Cloud Function - Execute Cloud Function has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends using the Execute Cloud Function v2 activity in future Process Definitions.
Face Liveness Assessment - Face Liveness Assessment has been deprecated. Daon recommends moving Process Definitions to Face Liveness Assessment v1.42.
Document to Face Match - Document to Face Match has been marked as deprecated. Daon recommends moving Process Definitions to Document to Face Match v2.
Write Summary Report - Write Summary Report has been deprecated. Daon recommends moving Process Definitions to Write Summary Report v2.

TrustX v2024.10.23

Overview

Improvements

Process Instance CSV Export has been improved to allow users to export multiple filtered Process Instances from the Backoffice web application.
- Multiple filtered Process Instances can be exported from the top of the page or;
- Individual Process Instances can be exported by clicking the export button within the Actions column.
- Exported results will now include the Process Instance ID and Document ID.

Backoffice Updated Delete Watchlist Error Messages:
- For a Watchlist member: "Are you sure you want to delete faceWatchlistMemberToDelete Watchlist Member?"
- For a Watchlist: "Are you sure you want to delete faceWathlistToDelete Watchlist?"
OIDC login_hint Updates:
- The OIDC login_hint parameter can be used to preselect a username to associate with a TrustX verification / Process Instance.
- The username will be recorded in the OIDC Audits for all OIDC interactions, and is a searchable field.
- The username can be returned in the IDToken or UserInfo when requesting the "preferred_username" claim or the "profile" scope.
- A session started with TrustX after an OIDC authentication request that specifies a username cannot be re-used later if the authentication request with the same username is repeated. Instead a new verification process will be started.

⚠️ Deprecation Notice

As part of a future TrustX release, support for Regula 7.1 will be deprecated. Daon advises upgrading existing flows to use the latest supported Regula version.

Process Instance Length
- Process Instance IDs are currently 26 characters in length. In a future release, the length of the Process Instance ID will be changing to a length of up to 50 characters. Daon advise making advance provisions to accommodate this change in length.

Bug Fixes

Key	Description
SKY-6123	Filtering Process Instances by Document ID is available as a searchable field on the Process Instance page of the Backoffice application.
SKY-8130	Additional query parameters unintentionally sent as part of an OIDC event search are no longer returned in the payload.
SKY-8433	Resolved an issue in the Backoffice navigation bar where the selected menu item would be deselected when an entity on the page was clicked such as a template.

Known Issues

SKY-8601	When exporting multiple Process Instances, any Process Instance with more than one document will only contain the first mapped document in the exported CSV.

What's New

Improvements

- A new activity for Regula 7.4 has been created. The 'Regula Document Processor 7.4' activity parameters can be viewed from the Activity Parameters guide.

⚠️ Deprecation Notice

As part of the latest TrustX release, support for Regula 6.9 has been deprecated. Daon advises upgrading existing flows to use the latest supported Regula version.

Bug Fixes

Key	Description
SKY-8267	If the resumeUrl is used in the same tab in which the instance was started, it may take approximately 30 seconds longer to trigger a timeout. In this instance, a 401 error will also be displayed. This error does not occur when the resumeUrl is used in a separate tab.
SKY-8271	Redirect URL option is not working as expected for Android devices when the `_redirectUrl` is set with a URL using the HTTP protocol and the flow is started via the Trust SDK.
