What's New
Beta Introduced a new document validation check. Text Substitution Detection Prototype performs a check against a captured document image to determine whether any text on the document has been altered, substituted or obscured from the original document.
The 'Text Substitution Detection' activity can be integrated with a Process Definition to perform this validation check.
At this point the activity is a beta prototype for testing and is not available for production environments. Updated algorithm versions will be added in the near future.
Early Access A new version of the face verification service, DaonFace v7, is available. The latest version provides improved accuracy when matching against captured face images.
When matching against lower quality images, DaonFace v7 provides more accuracy but may perform slower than the previous DaonFace v5 release.
New activities for 'Face7 Match Document to Face - v1' and 'Facev7 Template Generation - v1' activities have been introduced to utilize DaonFace v7.
Added new activities for NFC face match and external source matching. The 'NFC Face Match v2' and ' External Source Match v2' activities will use the latest algorithms for matching.
As part of our ongoing commitment to enhancing security, we recently updated the Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules on our Preview environment. We don't expect any service impact, but customers will have approximately 2 weeks to test their integration with the new WAF settings in the Preview environment before we begin to move the changes to production.

What's New
Early Access TrustX v2025.06.10 introduces an age estimation check functionality that enables users to estimate the age of a captured face image and verify individuals according to the check results. For implementation instructions, see the Age Estimation Guide guide.
Early Access A new version of the 'Face Quality' check has been introduced that utilizes an updated face quality algorithm.
To support this change, a new 'Face Quality Assessment v1.3' activity has been added to the Process Designer.
Tagging enables users to add tags to a Process Definition that enables users to change the Process Definition associated with a Process Token without making code changes. See Tagging Process Definitions for more information on adding tags to a Process Definition.
Early Access Introduced 'Define Document Type V1' activity that behaves similarly to 'Select Document Type' and can be used in conjunction with 'Accepted Document Type' but does not require input from the end-user.

The 'IDV NFC & Document Processing' template has been updated to utilize this activity.
Early Access Added a 'Raise Incident v1' activity that leads a Process Instance to an error state with a configurable error message.

What's New
Early Access A new feature, the Identity Store, serves as a comprehensive repository of User identities for the purpose of authenticating the identity of an end-user. This release of the Identity Store provides the following features:
Creating Identity Stores.
Adding Users to Identity Stores.
Registering and authenticating a User using passkeys.
Authenticating a User using face biometrics.

Early Access Added early access support for ID Document Processor v7.7.
Currently, access to the Identity Store feature is provided on an invite-only basis. Access is on an invite-only basis in order to solicit feedback during this early access phase. Full access will be provided to all tenants once the feedback phase has been completed. Contact support@daon.com to request access.
