Overview

What's New

TrustX supports a new Face Plus capability for face capture. Through integration with Face Plus, TrustX provides improved support for face capture verification that ensures the captured face image is an authentic, genuine face. This update includes the following changes:
- A new Capture Face Plus Image activity has been introduced for face capture. See the Activity Parameters page for full configuration details.
- A new face capture check has been added for Face Plus. The check results can be found from an individual Process Instance page, under the 'Capture Liveness' subheading.
- Full details can be found in the xFace Injection Attack Detection Integration guide.
Early Access OIDC Audits provides information on OIDC events performed in TrustX. OIDC Audits are accessible from the Backoffice application by navigating to the OIDC Audits page found under the OIDC section.

Improvements

Watchlist members now include a Discard Original Image option when adding a new watchlist member. When enabled, the selfie image associated with a watchlist member will not be stored or shown within the Backoffice application. For more information, see the Managing Watchlists guide.
- This functionality is available in the TrustX API using the storeSamples property. For details, see the Managing Watchlists Via API guide.

Bug Fixes

Key	Description
SKY-8230	Fixed an issue while adding a watchlist member during the ID&V flow. The user was added to the watchlist as expected, but no associated selfie image was stored in cases where 'Discard Original Image' option is disabled. This issue has been fixed and the watchlist member will be successfully added with the associated selfie image.
SKY-8158	Resolved an issue with the switch to mobile timeout functionality on desktops where the timeout did not occur at the time set on the Timer Boundary Event.

Known Issues

Key	Description
SKY-8119	A camera stream started using the Trust SDK on Android will be not paused as expected when the user minimizes the page during capture and no "Do not minimize the camera view" message is shown.

What's New

A new version of Document Capture (v3) is available as part of this release. This latest change comes with various improvements.
- New activities for front and back Document Capture v3.
- A new Select Document Type v3 activity is available and recommended for use with the Document Capture v3 activity. For inform on input parameters, see Select Document Type v3 Input Parameters.
- A new Confirm Document Image v3 activity is available and is recommended for use with the Document Capture v3 activity. For more information on input parameters, see Confirm Document Image v3 Input Parameters.
- Document Capture v3 supports machine-readable zone (MRZ) , which contains the encoded personal information belonging of a document holder. MRZ scanning is supported by passport document types only.
- Advanced Configuration options allow users to override capture parameters without explicitly naming all the parameters.
- New UI and messages for improved feedback during the capture process when using Document Capture, Select Document Type, and Confirm Document Image activities.

Improvements

The External Custom Page activity has been updated to include a predefined "https://" within the External Page URL. Users will not be required to add "https://" to the beginning of the URL value as the activity will include this text by default. See Custom Pages activity parameters for more details.
Users now have the ability to delete Email Templates from the Backoffice application. A new delete option will appear among the list of actions next to an Email Template that in one of the following scenarios:
- An Email Template has been saved but not yet deployed.
- An Email Template has been set to the "inactive" or "retired" status.
- An older version of an Email Template can be deleted if multiple versions exist.

The document capture guidance screen has been updated to use bullet points to match the formatting of the face capture screen.
OIDC Clients can now be secured using a signed JSON Web Token (JWT). Client security can be verified using two methods.
- Client Certificate - Provide the contents of the certificate or upload using a .pem file.
- JWKS URL - Provide a JSON Web Key Set (JWKS) URL.

Bug Fixes

Key	Description
SKY-6935	Resolved an issue where special characters were not validated within the password field of a custom form if special characters were not allowed.
SKY-7628	Resolved and issue when scanning two documents from different countries as part of a single ID&V flow. If the second document to be scanned was from a different country to the first document, only the country of the first document was available within the Select Document Type form.
SKY-7931	An issue has been addressed where the loading spinner animation that appears during document capture would endlessly loop.

Known Issues

Key	Description
SKY-4404	When starting the ID&V flow on a Xiaomi Mi 10 device running Android 10, users may experience a black screen after scanning the QR code.
SKY-7269	When scanning a QR code to start the ID&V flow on an Android device, if the default browser for the device is Firefox and the language is set to Irish, the message that advises users to change browser may not appear, and an unexpected error is shown.
SKY-7510	On iOS devices, if the device is locked during document capture with PDF417 enabled and using Document Capture v3, when the device is unlocked, the application may freeze.
SKY-7682	When using Document Capture v3, locking the screen during document capture may cause the application to switch to a different camera when the screen is unlocked.

Metrics and statistics provide a breakdown on the activity of a Process Definition. This includes the number of times a Process Definition has started and ended, a table of execution results for each individual activity within the Process Definition, and the ability to filter results by a set timeline.
