Document Authentication Fusion Algorithms

Introduction

TrustX takes advantage of various algorithms to perform document checks, Color Copy Detection, Screen Replay Detection, Black and White Copy Detection, Photo Substitution, Paper Copy Detection, and Portrait Substitution Detection.

This section will provide a description of each document check service and recommended fused thresholds. Below is a sample document validation flow using the Process Designer that includes the latest versions of each algorithm.

The Document capture feature is optimized for mobile capture. TrustX supports flows originating from desktop browsers to facilitate capture on various devices. For optimal results, Daon recommends users switch to mobile for face and document capture. For information on switching devices, see the Switching Devices guide.
