What's New

Improvements to xFace have been introduced providing the following benefits
- Improved performance on xFace capture screens.
- Early Access New activities, 'Capture xFace IAD v2.5.1 Image - v3' and 'Capture xFace IAD v2.5.1 Image (Hardened) - v3' have been added.
Watchlist Statistics are now available in the Backoffice. This page provides a comprehensive dashboard of data related to all Watchlists created by the tenant in the TrustX system. For more information, see the Watchlist Statistics guide.

Improvements

Early Access New 'Capture Face Image v3' and 'Capture Face Image v3 - Back camera' activities are now available. This activity updates the processing screen with progress bars that provide feedback during processing. For more information on configurable input parameters, see the Face Capture Input Parameters guide.
The preview face processing screen that displays when configuring a theme in the Backoffice has been updated to match the design of the original face processing screen shown during a Process Instance.
Search logic and performance improvements have been made to Process Tokens search in the Backoffice application.
- To improve performance of the page, Process Tokens are not loaded on page load.
- The date range for tokens defaults to the past 24 hrs.
- The date range is required.
- The Process Definition name is required.
- The Process Definition version is optional.

SKY-12602

Release v2026.01.21 introduced a change in behavior when a user attempted to start a Process Instance that was already running (same Process Instance ID). With that change, a second start attempt caused the Process Instance to transition to the ERROR state. Previously, such attempts resulted in an HTTP 400 response.

This patch restores the original behavior: duplicate start attempts now return an HTTP 400 response, and the process instance remains unchanged and does not transition to an ERROR state.

What's New

The manual review process has been enhanced to introduce an assigned reviewer. A tenant assigned to a Process Instance in the review status will be responsible for setting the final decision of the Process Instance. See the Managing Reviews Guide for more information.
Themes can be set per Process Token by setting the desired theme and version when generating a new token.
- When setting the theme on a Process Token, it is possible to pass token information in the URL/ QR code of the Process Token. See the Themes Guide for more information.
Early Access Introduced support for ID Document Processor 8.4. For information on configuration input parameters, see the Document Processor Activity Parameters guide.
Early Access A new version of the Text Substitution (v2.0.0) algorithm is available. See Document Activity Parameters for information on configuring the 'Text Substitution v2.0.0' activity input parameters.

Improvements

Early Access New versions of the xDOC activities, 'Capture xDoc IAD v2.5.0 - Front v3' and 'Capture xDoc IAD v2.5.0 - Back v3' have been released. This improvement resolves issues experienced when the 'forTest' input parameter is enabled during xDoc capture.
Early Access A new version of 'Capture xFace IAD v2.5.1 Image - v2' is available. This activity introduces an additional error boundary event that is triggered when the liveness quality check has failed.

SKY-13422	Backoffice Process Definition templates have been updated to use the latest terms and conditions returned in the 'Capture Consent v3 - Sept 2025' activity.
SKY-13359	Fixed a bug where an incorrectly configured 'Add Watchlist Entry' would return an error at the top of the Process Instance overview page but the activity would show a status OK response in the activity timeline table.
SKY-12591	Resolved an issue where the "Are you sure you want to leave this page? All unsaved progress will be lost" warning message would not appear after clicking out of a page when creating a new object (Process Definition, Cloud Function, etc.) in the Backoffice.
SKY-12220	Users may have experienced a 404 error when viewing audits from the Audit page in the Backoffice and utilizing the filter options.

What's New

Early Access A new Watchlist Management system has been introduced that provides fraud detection capabilities across four Watchlist types:
- FaceV6: Biometric face matching for person identification
- Visitor ID: Device/browser fingerprint matching
- Document Number: Identity document number matching
- IPv4 Address: IP address range matching

Improvements

The 'Custom Data Form v4' activity has been updated to include a new 'Edit Mode' input parameter. When enabled, the form will display the continue and retry buttons and any editable fields configured on the form. If set to false, only the continue button will be displayed. See the Custom Data Form v4 input parameters for more details on configuring this activity.
Early Access A custom switch device flow can now be configured using a Custom Page and newly introduced activities in the Process Designer. This allows customers to create fully customized pages (including barcode) for switching from desktop to mobile. See Custom Switch Device Page for integration instructions.
Country names and labels can be customized using the Translation Self Service page in the Backoffice application. For information on defining custom country names and label, see the Translation Self Service guide.
An improvement has been made to Process Definitions that introduces a new 'Return Variables on End Event' parameter in the general configuration of the Process Designer. When set to "No", sensitive variables will not be exposed at the end of the Process Instance. This is the default behavior for new Process Definitions or when a new version is added. For backwards compatibility with existing Process Definitions, this property will be "Yes" by default.

SKY-12920	Fixed an issue where PDF documents were not visible in the Process Instance Backoffice page that were uploaded using the 'PDF ID Upload v1' activity.
SKY-12243	Resolved an issue where providing a content security policy csp.txt file in the zip folder of a Custom Page would not apply in the Custom Page preview in the Backoffice application.

SKY-13020	When capturing a passport using 'Capture xDoc IAD v2.5.0', a 1-2 second delay between the captured frame and the of the capture process can occur.	Low
SKY-12938	The minimized camera view error prompt may trigger on document capture even though camera view was never minimized when using the 'Capture xDoc IAD v2.5.0' activities.	Low - Workaround available by refreshing the Trust Web page.
SKY-12881	When the Face / Document capture starts and the page is reloaded, the pause logo may appear in the capture overlay for a couple of seconds. This issue only affects iPhone 13 Pro Max (18.5).	Low
